With the fault simulator you can simulate component faults in connection with systems from ETS DIDACTIC GMBH and perform targeted troubleshooting using the technical documentation. The fault simulator should thus introduce a structured analysis of the functional structure of the plant and the fault situation. Depending on the task, troubleshooting is performed in one of two ways:
Virtual troubleshooting is a simulation of the fault on a digital model in the app. The fault can be found on this digital model and corrected in the app.
When troubleshooting the real system, faults are generated by the app by overlaying the signals of the connected hardware. In this way, faults can be imprinted onto an existing, executable PLC program and a malfunction of the system can be simulated. The fault can be found on this digital model and corrected in the app.
