The way in which kids access the learning of music theory is often very far from what their nature is; Music, even though it is an artistic and therefore sensory language, is offered in an abstract way. This approach often causes frustration, demotivation and abandonment.

From this reflection emerged SERCLET, the innovative method of musical education for children from 3 to 10 years old created by Mª Àngels Florit, music teacher and musician, the result of the field work that she has been carrying out for years in her music classroom. As a most innovative element, the Serclet method incorporates self-created manipulative teaching material into the music classroom, which transfers abstract musical concepts to concrete terrain, with the mission of making music learning more understandable.

At our stand (Hall 7.1, stand B017), you can learn about our materials and the virtual platform with online training for schools and teachers. We will also inform you about how to accredit yourself in our method or become an ambassador.

There is nothing more gratifying for a teacher than seeing a child focused on his/her task, flowing with his/her work, happy with his/her achievements, accompanying the child and observing his/her progress. The teacher empathizes and feels fulfilled with his work. He changes his conventional classroom for a space for manipulation and experimentation.
