The educational work of full-time teachers is an essential aspect of the penal system.

The prisoners are taught within the framework of various measures, some of which lead to regular school leaving certificates at secondary level I and II or precede vocational training. In small learning groups with fixed responsibilities, intensive, holistic pedagogical work is possible so that the teachers can respond to the individual needs of the prisoners.

The juvenile prison system with its educational mandate represents a largely educational task, but the adult prison system also offers a wide range of tasks for the educational service!
